Hey Mark, thanks for the link over to my site, many serious fishermen swear by the moon and or sun. In my province we observe daylight savings which means we spring ahead and fall back. When fish feed is definitely affected by the dark and light and at what times it gets dark or the sun rises.

I fish for big Brown Trout when the sun has set and the moon is becoming full, say three quarters to completely full. Once the sun has completely set there is a window of time when the brown trout's eyes need to adjust to the total darkness and get focused in. Lure colors become a factor and I tend to use colors at night that attract the most light, hot colors like oranges, bright blues or reds.

In conclusion, it is wise to record any and all info that you see pertinent to your fishing situation. That way the next year you can come back and put your recorded information in to use. You need to be wiser than the fish and the next angler standing downstream of you !!!!
