Here is another article I found that talks about how the Solunar Phases and Times effect fish feeding behaviour.
Especially the section where Captain Robert McCue is quoted, explaining his experience fishing the major and minor solunar periods captured my interest.
Robert McCue believes that especially harder to catch species like tarpon and snook, will feed more freely and strike a bait more readily during a major solunar period.
He states that the theory is not 100% accurate but that the best action a day can offer will most likely occur during the major times.
If a major or minor period occurs during a tide change or at sunset, sunrise - be at the spot - there will be great action.
Fishing the major times during a full or new moon will produce best results.
