Hello everyone.

I thought it is time to allow a little more communication and interaction on fishingreminder.
I have been getting a lot of great feedback from you guys and fishingreminder has become a useful tool for many anglers.

To make all feedback, suggestions and frequently asked questions more visible to everyone I decided to set up a forum.

I hope this way we all get to know each other a little better.

To get things rolling, please start a new thread in this forum category and tell us a little bit about yourself.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Hi everyone,

My friend Jen and I have been fishing twice a week for the last 12 years or so and absolutely love it, can't get enough. The cold weather doesn't stop us from fishing, in fact its better fishing in the cold as you can rug up rather than in the hot sun, very invigorating. My best catch to date is a 4.8kg snapper in Westernport and a 2.075kg Aust salmon off Gunnamatta surf beach. Surf fishing isn't my forte, but now I've learned heaps and so enjoy fishing there.

This dull and wet weather is very depressing but Spring is just around the corner, I take this opportunity to fix up rigs/rods, go on fishing forums etc ready for the big catch later on.

Hi to all the club members at the Southern Peninsula Angling Club, tomorrow night 16th Aug is AGM night, hope to see you all there. New members more than welcome. Lovely bunch of people with lots of knowledge.
