this is probably around 20 - 25 pound. unfortunately didn't have scales to measure correctly. caught this one close to the rocks in about 8 meter deep water on a gulp lime tiger 6 inch softbait.

haha - yeah next time I get a big one like this it will live on. Was too excited this time - had to keep it ;-) Caught him on my kayak and forgot to bring the camera.

The camera is my biggest problem...it's never on me when I need it! My biggest yet was a 58cm Snapper and I was leaping all over the place...can't wait till Summer! It's dead over in Marsden Bay now...goin' out tomorrow but it shows only a fair day to fish...but I am having withdrawals and need to get out there! LOL!
