This is my sweet heart, that was able to catch, this big bluegill fish.

A very great catch. Good sweet taste as I recall. I haven't seen them that big in my Lake Huron Area.

well, if that's a bluegill, not a hybrid, then that is a new world record, as the current record is 4lbs plus.

BUT, I think it probably is a hybrid. I'm no ichyologist, but it looks like a bluegill/largemouth hybrid, maybe a bluegill/crappie? The mouth shape looks odd to me for a bluegill.
