Caught full bucket of Whiting with a hand held kids net just walking the dog and relaxing..I couldn't believe how many were jumping so i ran to camp and grabbed what I could...lol..the f uh n and excitement took me back to my childhood days fishing w. My grandpa, and his little fishergirl sprung into action! The fish that werent cleaned and cooked w. Grits this morning are on ice in hopes of catching a fish like THIS ONE !! Tonight after 3.40 a.m.like the tables recommend.i will be a faithful consultant of this guide and table..any idea what to look for in the surf tonight? Or in lakes near by? I.m n mayport fl and havent fished since i was a kid in NY state where bass jumped in the boat with every cast. I have good amnt of sinkers, hooks, strong line but not deep sea, good rod n reel..all have just ended up in my van over the past month ..none purchased, often left behind or found..and now i bave bait too! I must say..my grandpa loved me very much.he passed shortly after meeting his 1st great grandson, my oldest boy. .he knows im on a vision quest,i think he has provided these things as a way to gift me with the joy we shared every summer. A love of Fishing..what a gift to give anyone! Ok..so backnto the waters..any ideas on whats biting out there ? Thanks to all, be well and fish on!
