In Aussie we have yellow fin bream but they have more rounded head,also black bream down the southern parts & black-fish , luderick & drummer.

we have a fish here that is the slim version & nice &sweet!. just gut it pull lining out &throw on a barbie?try it make sure you bleed fish like that quick & put on ice

This is a Silver Jenny Mojarra. Look it up on google. We have a similar fish called Silver Biddy but has a different mouth.

P.S. in the larger sizes they are supposedly good eating.

Looks like a cross between our common bream and a silver biddy. Bream are good eating but silver biddy (also known as bony bream) are full of bones and best used for bait or released ???

It's a sand perch also known as a shad aka duty belly in jamaica.

They are as common as muck in North Qld. We call them "bait" for catching real fish. AKA Long nosed cast net tanglers!
