Any body can suggest what is the best bait for Silver grunt and its feeding habits.

My best experience with fishing Nagroor, was during foggy time, with current going down or up, using shrimp that contains orange color. When the sun goes up, they do not eat that much, however, during foggy time you will not have a rest.

Some poeple use the small crap that you can catch from rocks on the beach as bait too.

If you are in emirates the best location is ICAD city after Mussafeh - Abu Dhabi, main fish there is Nagroor. There is another place call Al Arraym, after ICAD city, but from the main road to Mirfa.

Thanks for your useful information. This is new thing for me which you added to my knowledge as using red shrimp. I am based in Sharjah and normally going to fish nagroor in Ajman corniche. I have also some research in this time period which can be surprising for you. I have done restless fishing by using 'Ajeen' Flour dow balls. IN the morning time when there is good fishing stars shown in fishing reminder.com but if this time comes in the morning only, other wise during a 3 star day I tried to fish in the afternoon but no good result.
Do you know some places where big fishes can be caught eg hamour, king fish, barracuda etc from shore and without hours long wait? please advice.
