As per local fishermen/Anglers of the coastal belt of Pakistan, this is how they decide their best fishing days:

From the 6th to 9th of the moon, tide currents are slow. From the10th to 17th of the moon, tide currents are fast. Again from 18th of the moon to 23rd of the moon, tide currents are slow. From 24th to the 4th of the moon, tide currents are fast.

Trolling is good when the current flow is fast whereas the periods when currents are slow, bottom fishing and jigging is more suitable. For creek fishing, fast current gives much better results.

I am not sure what comments to make. If the local fishermen in Pakistan work out the best times in that way...then that is the way they do it.
