Hi Everyone,

I created a few new weather dials. Hope you guys like it and it will help you picking the right fishing times.
When you scroll down to the weather forecast on the fishing times page then you'll see a new wind dial, a fishing barometer and a gauge for the UV index with some descriptions. I'll be adding a few more gauges over the next few weeks and also update the graphics on the tide clock and solunar clock.

Looks like the wind compass needs some tweaking...It is showing W on the right. I would have thought the arrow should point toward where the wind is coming from not going to...So it looks like ti is upside down and mirror.

o forgot to mention - I also worked pretty hard on making the site load faster and reducing the size of data that needs to be downloaded, especially on mobile phones. Hope it will have a positive impact on the viewing experience.

I thought the arrow is supposed to show where the wind is going to, the other side of the arrow is showing where it's coming from. That kinda makes more sense to me.

Or maybe not? Might have to make this more clear.
But I think it's pretty common or even standard to have the arrow pointing in the direction of the wind flow.

okay you must be using Firefox - crap, it's not working on Firefox, only tested with chrome and safari before update.
That's why it looks all messed up at your end and W is on the right.

Yes, I noticed the date.

Latest Ubuntu comes with Firefox preinstalled.

The only system error I am aware of at the moment, is a MD error (part of the cache data base)...(I must get around to fixing that ).

Not sure about the arrow direction - in most wind forecast sites the arrow is pointing in the direction of the flow like here on windfinder for example. That's what I'm used to - so I'll leave it for now unless I get more complaints, haha

Yeah, I think I will keep it as it is. The arrow indicates the wind flow. That's how other weather sites do it too.

Can you add moon over and moon under times under "Sun & Moon". This would make fishingreminder my only go to website for these things

I love the site and reference it here on the east coast of Florida USA quite regularly. I love the additions and everyone's suggestions too.
I had to look up the wind direction arrows previously before seeing this blog as I wasn't sure how this site annotated the direction. I worked with tethered Aerostats for 3 years in Afghanistan and our military Wx showed the arrows pointing where the wind was going to, not from like a weather-vane which can cause some confusion as it seems counter intuitive in some respects.
