Can someone tell me good and quiet fishing spots in Dubai city. I dont want to go to other emirates. I prefer Dubai. I want to catch some large fish (weighing a minimum of least a kilogram each).

@shimjitg this is in garhoud bridge. @mastermorpheous have you tried makhtoum bridge? they say they catch barracudas and kingmacks there, but fishing license is required, guys from the municipality comes there a lot, or in Jumeirah beach opposite of Dubai zoo.

you can park your car under the bridge.if youre coming from karama to garhoud make a right turn immediately after passing garhoud bridge, then turn right again after 2 lamp post the entrance to the bridge will be there, but dont get confused because the road there is like a jogging lane, but cars are allowed to pass. just follow it and it will take you right under the bridge. good luck.

thanks meril, i used live bait, its a small bream caught in that area. hook size is 5/0 with a 10 inch 60 lbs wire leader but i am not gonna use that hook anymore, i switched to bigger sized hooks(7/0) cause i lost 5 groupers before because of the hooks bending, they just cant handle the weight of those monsters. time of the bite was 9:30 am and it was a low tide.
