I am not sure about the speckled marking, but they look more like bream than snapper. Well done.

I am in Australia...Yes rain can bring the fish on. Keep a diary and you will soon see what works for your area. :)

This species is called Silver Grunt. This is frequently cought in the UAE between October to April
