A large grouper lies flat on a white cutting surface laid over newspaper, photographed from above shortly after being landed. The fish has a pale grey-brown body heavily mottled with dark brown blotches and spots, a thick head and a broad tail. A hand in a red sleeve holds the edge of the board, and a pair of green-handled scissors rests beside the tail. The setting is indoors, likely a kitchen or preparation table in Abu Dhabi, where the angler regularly fishes the breakwaters.
