Three freshly caught groupers (hamour) lie on a white plastic cutting board set over newspaper, with a thick cross-section steak of another silvery-skinned fish resting between them. The fish were caught on a line and are being prepared indoors, with a tiled floor, patterned curtains and a small docket slip visible around the board. The catch reflects a typical Abu Dhabi shore or breakwater session by this angler.
