It’s a short working day for me on a Friday ( just the 8.25 hours) so went to the local canal for a fish. Walked between 2 locks and tried my hand with a jerk bait which I’d found on some rocks in Mission Beach, QLD but had no luck with that so switched to a K-Mart spinner I’d brought back from Aus with me. I got onto 2 smaller Jack Pike before this hit me just before I got back to the car. Was most welcome as I was ruddy freezing with the wind whistling down the canal.
