The FAD is a basically floating device anchored to the bottom of the ocean to attract fish in one area, usually a 3 to 5 mile radius. It is anchored in as little as 300 mitres of water up to about 3000 mitres. Used for pelagic spices.

Fish was caught with a live bate, (a 2 lbs tuna) 300 ft monofilament with 2 lead swivels in between. My location is in laborie, St. Lucia.( Caribbean Island)
