what kind of fish is it?

I was told it's called a sail cat.

I did some research and found some references for Gafftopsail catfish. Which seems to be common in Florida.
Wondering if that's the one.

They are supposedly poisonous and you can get stung by the fins when handling it.

A sting from this catfish can cause bad long lasting pain. On top of that it also excretes a toxic slime coating from its skin when caught :)
