interesting picture, a very lucky shot I suppose. What are those circles around the subject?

I think maybe the lady that took the picture was taking a video and got this picture. The main thing with this post is I was there when the lady took this video, or picture. The was about three years ago when she got this good shot.

The circles are focus rings. Usually used on 35mm SLR film cameras. Basically, you move the lens focus until the rings cannot be seen and that will then be in focus. Funny though, the rings are ground into the camera mirror, not on the lens. The mirror moves out of the way when the shutter is open. Which means those rings were added after using Photoshop or similar.

From what I can make out, this photo is owned by - Marjie Goldberg Photography...See image 20 here - http://drowningworms.com/20-of-natures-greatest-anglers/ But it can also be found on many other web sites, like for e.g - http://www.dolphinexpresspcb.com/blog/hunting-up-dinner-in-panama-city-beach/ https://outdoors360.com/see-the-jaw-dropping-wild-dolphin-kerplunking-a-redfish-photo-and-how-the-magic-happened/ http://www.skifflife.com/866430/everybody-loves-redfish-including-dolphin/ etc, etc, etc So why the rings have been Photoshopped in is a mistery :)
