If you had that many abs in Australia they would put you in jail. Not sure of the other states but NSW is a bag limit of 2.

They are not Abalone. They are Limpets & you are allowed 50 p/day.

Thanks! They don't get much bigger. I boil water, then throw 3 in @ a time. Take out after 15 seconds, no more than that.

Wow! How do you get them out of the rocks? Any special knife you need for that? I have seen them stuck on the rocks in NZ.

Gently but quickly slide a firm knife under them & pry them off. How to eat: I boil water, then put 3 in @ a time & 15 seconds (amount of time they separate from shell) no more. Remove from water & eat, with or without a sauce.
