The flats and headland of Shoal Point are renowned for summer whiting, flathead, and bream on the sand gutters, with queenfish and small GTs harassing bait along the pressure edges; walk the flats on a falling tide with surface walkers and prawn imitations, or soak worms and yabbies, and shift to metals when bait pushes past toward Bucasia Beach.
