the locals here in abu dhabi called this fish as sherri looks like a snapper or maybe a close type of snapper.thanks for the comment man and for the wonderful site.

thanks man,appreciated. winter season here hoping to catch for kingfish. could you give me some tips? i'm using sardines as a bait.

Wish I could give you some tips but I only fish with soft baits.
I got some nice king fish when drifting around with gulp alive softies.
But don't think that wold work well from the shore.
If I were to fish from the shore I'd probably catch fresh bait and use it right away.
