In Ontario, Canada we catch them in fresh water. We call them Sheepshead (a drum fish). We throw them back, we don't eat them. Is your catch from salt water?

Oh!😆🧐 This is a saltwater fish, Snapper, the most sought-after table fish in New Zealand! I googled the sheephead. They look different from that!🧐🤓 Are they pinky like this fish?

Yes salt water fish , very tasty good for sashimi, fish and chips/ fry
