She was a stunner. Healthy specimen I caught near Bells Pond intake off the Waitaki River, Ikawai, with my 7ft rod & reel from the Warehouse, braided 20lb line & using a 10g Black & Gold Toby Lure just after I put a small gold teardrop shaped tail piece on with the 3 barb hook. She was a mighty 53cm in length.
