A smiling angler in a blue button-down shirt and jeans stands outdoors holding a large rainbow trout with both hands. The fish has a silvery body, dark speckling, and a pinkish lateral stripe. The background is a rocky, grassy slope with a wooden railing; no water is visible.
4+ lbs. 21.5 inches. October 2012. I live in Vail and this is the best
day on the river I have had for size if not quantity. We catch and
release normally but this one I had to take.
