we used a carolina rig, 1/2oz weight and casting small mullet. (caught mullet with cast net. Also used #2 kayle hooks. They tend to hook them better.

What are those striped fish called again? I used to fish around piers in Pensacola and North Carolina. I could never catch them.

They are sheepshead. Best tasting fish I have had. They are a trick to catch though. the trick is to set the hook before they bite...
