Freshwater Fishing in Massachusetts (Black Bass) | Category: Introduce yourself

Hi, I'm Dave and I do my fishing from a canoe (mostly) on some of our local freshwater pond in Bristol County in Mass. Until this year, I haven't fished in about 20 years. I'm now retired and try to get out whenever I can. Small ponds/lakes are my favorite, but the don't always have access. Largest bass caught this year is 4 lbs 0 oz caught on a black spinner bait in 4 ft of water at 7 am on 8/24/2011 in Lake Nippenicket in Bridgewater. Was kind of windy and it was quite a struggle to land.
