Just stumbled onto this site sniffing around the net.
My name is Paul and I live in Brisbane and fish Morton Bay area and foreshore.
did extremely well on the tiger squid this year and now I'm just starting to chase snapper , sweetlip and parrot.
and not long till the prawns start to make a show.

Hiya pickers

welcome to the forum.

I'm just getting into squid fishing and caught a few with pink jigs from the shore in Auckland.
They were swimming extremely close to the rocks and I could see how they were noticing my jig and then grabbed it. Was quite fun actually - very visual fishing.

How do you go about catching tiger squid? Are you fishing from a wharf or boat?

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
