Just moved to Pensacola 3 weeks ago from Idaho. Finally got out fishing this AM. First time in almost 40 years fishing in the ocean. Caught a bunch of pin fish. Man those little buggers put up a fight. Was hoping for specks or even a flounder or two. but had fun anyway.

What are pin fish? Little bait fish or something like that?
Did you have a chance to got out again and catch some flounder?
I love flounder - can catch them with spear and underwater light but not much luck with rod and reel so far.

I have fished some nice places in Idaho around Salmon kinda north of Arco. I do love fishing in the ocean though nothing beats the fight or the size,although a good salmon with 12 lb line and a medium light rod is alot of fun ! Hope you get your flattie this summer Im sure you'll get one. Make sure you post a photo of anything you get though and good luck !
