I am and have been an avid Bass Fisherman for many years. I am currently living and working here in Waegwan South Korea. I get out to fish whenever I can and to my surprise Korea has some decent Bass fishing. Waegwan is 21 km north of Daegu South Korea and there a few lakes in the area that I have caught Bass. Most of the older generation Koreans don't like Bass and in fact try and kill off the Bass in the surrounding lakes. They like the traditional fish which is the crucian carp (Carassius carassius). If anyone see this post and lives in the area just drop a line and maybe we can get together to do some fishing. I also enjoy saltwater fishing.
