Hi booyah

good to hear from you. I've been pretty busy working on fishingreminder upgrades and a mobile fishing app. Some nice improvements coming up

Now I just remembered that I wanted to add your filleting video to the tutorial section. I'll do that tonight - had completely forgotten.

Our fishing season has slowed down and its bloody cold in the mornings.
Haven't been fishing for some time either cause was too busy. Hopefully next week I'll get a chance to go out if weather permits.

Looking forward to see some new photos from you. Good luck with your next fishing trip.

I am new to this site and new to kayak fishing in general. I live in Victoria BC Canada. Might you have any advice for dealing with fish to big to get in the kayak? Also, the seals and the sealions are always following me around and I think it is only a matter of time before one pulls me over. Any suggestions?

Hi Mark T,
So I have seen the tutorial section you made it look awesome! What a great job
I hope every one can learn how to fillet well(and safely) by watching the video.
My next project will be a short video on keeping that all important tool the
"fillet knife" as sharp as can be. Cant tell you how many how to videos Ive seen
where folks are "sawing" away at the meat cuz the knife they have has been used
too much without making the edge fresh again. I will work on it as soon as I
can. Got the boat trailer done so now I can do some fishing. Thanks again for doing such a nice job on the video, people in Alaska, lower 48 states, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia Trinidad/Tobago have been watching it according to the stats. Good luck in all your fishing !!!

hi booyah

wow that next project sounds good. I'm always having trouble with my
filleting knifes. Looking forward to see your video tutorial for getting them nice and sharp.

Hi Mark T,

While I was doing some research online, I got off on some tangent and came
across this photo, the first thing I thought of was you. So watch out for
this fish stealing your bait ! !

we actually got a few of those submarines swimming around here
Another reason I only fish soft baits - hehe
