I am new to salt water fishing. I want to catch different kind of fish species. I am fishing in the Arabian Gulf, Dammam. I always end up hooking up catfish. Catfishes seem to be infested in this area. How do I avoid them?

Catfish likes stinky bait, use fresh bait.
