You know, I called it a rainbow, but I think it is a brook. To be honest I've really just started in trout fishing, so please do correct me if I get it wrong.
I was using a live nightcrawler for the brook, and used yellow trout power/dough bait for the brown.
I wouldn't have went to the power bait, but my box of worms fell out of my pocket, and went down the river quicker then I could catch them, lol.
I caught the brook at around 9:15amn which would have been your major time, and the brown st around 12:30pm which would have just started in your minor. Didn't get a bite anywhere between those times.
They started getting really active in the minor. I had to pick the kids up from school, so I had to leave it, but there's always today
