Fishing for the first time in the Tybee Island area. Any suggestions? Inshore fishing only.

How is the fishing going?

Looking on the map I would say you are spoiled for choice. About the only thing you don't have is rock fishing...You have beach, river, pier, mangroves etc, etc.

We caught one of everything, but not a lot of anything. We stayed on the beach, hit the rocks one day, and spent a day at the pier. Ended up just going crabbing one night because the fishing wasn't working out. Peak of the summer wasn't the best time of year for Tybee. But we had fun exploring and we learned a lot of lessons for our next fishing trip!

You know, winter fishing can be just as much fun and often more productive
