I have a lake next to my house, that I go fishing at all the time. There are huge bass in it, but i just cant lure them out. I use flavored heavy rubber worms and catch bass, but I was wondering. Will top water bait get big bass?

Go early and try a top water bait
When worm fishing try a short (5") without a weight. Let the worm float to the bottom and reel it to you as slow as possable..There are worms that have a lot of salt in them that work great.Purchase extra salty. Good luck.

Gotta know where they are at ....... and drop whatever in front of their nose
They love coverage so look at the edges of brush and fallen trees ..... under docks
I've had good luck jigging for Basstards .........
Nice thing with jigging is if you miss top water or mid at the spot u saw them then you can then go for the bottom without changing up baits / lures

best jigs have the bristle in front of hook .... makes it weedless
u can add trailer to hook for mid summer bass
trim up the skirts on edges to round out your presentation ..... making it look like a blue gill redear ,,,,,
