Fatal Shark Attack in New Zealand | Category: Fishing Talk

A swimmer just got killed by seemingly a great white shark at a popular surf beach here in Muriwai, New Zealand.

This beach is actually very close to where I live.
OMG - I actually go surfing at this beach every now and then.
Scary stuff.

There have only been 11 recorded fatal shark attacks in New Zealand since 1847.
But if you are out there swimming or surfing those statistics are not too comforting considering this recent event.
