I am a novice fisherman in Abu Dhabi. Ive been out on a boat and caught a few Baracuda which was fun but I could not get anything else to bite.

I would love to catch a king fish. What should I do?

Hi John, if you cannot catch kingfish on a lure (rapala)by the boat hook them with live needle fish hanging on a floater (ballon will do), at least 2-3 meter leader line from bait to weight and tie the baloon to your main line 2-3 meter from the weight ( when you tie the balloon on your main line make sure that you can release the ballon when you hooked one), we are doing it on shore fishing and it works pretty well, by the boat is much better perhaps, cheers.

Looks to me that you have a lot off experience around Abu Dhabi, always great to read your replies when I have the time. Could we hook up at a time so we can go fishing together, if you don't mind. I do have some experience but do not know everything and would like it if you could show me a trick or two. I am usually available as from Thursday afternoon until Saturday afternoon.
