The local fishermen of the Balochistan Coast, Pakistan prefer to fish during 4-7th of the moon and 23-27 of the moon. They claim that since the tides are calmer during this period, fish are more prone to bite. I would like to know the opinion of readers. I have used so many other fish predictors on my smartphone, but somehow, didn't have much luck. I would be making a plan according to the opinion of this website and will inform the readers the outcome. The local fishermen prefer surfcasting during an incoming tide.

I think it depends a bit on the type of fish you're after.
Some fish prefer fast moving currents and some prefer calm waters.

But sometimes when fishing from shore, fast moving currents could be a problem.
It would be harder to keep your bait in place. Perhaps that's the reason the local fishermen prefer calmer waters?
