Specifically talking about fishing at Kakka Pir from the rocks, ..... Is there any solution to this problem? Advice from experts is sought.
I don't know if I would call myself an expert but I will try an answer for you...There is a good chance you are not doing anything wrong.
Try different lures, colours, sizes, shapes etc. Try different cast distance ( remember, 90% of anglers cast over the top of the fish they are trying to catch !!). If you have only used lures so far, then try bait.
An old saying is 'match the hatch'. Basically it means use a lure or bait very similar to what the fish are eating at the time. That could mean trying several different styles or different baits until you hit the one that works.
If most other people are also just catching barracuda, then maybe that is it until the 'hatch' is used up. Cuda can be aggressive and maybe if the hatch is nice they might have chased off the other fish....Like any other animal, fish will fight over food, territory and a mate. Maybe the Cuda have just become so aggressive in their "feeding frenzy" that they have driven all the other fish out of casting distance.
itsaboat mate...Life is just a boat and then ya marry one !
