Maybe there was only 70 fish there to start with !!
63 fish caught in one day in the same spot is a lot. In fact I would say that was a school of fish. You do know, don't you, that when fish school they tend to be on the move? Maybe they had moved on to greener pastures by the time you went back.
In almost 48 years of fishing I have had two days when every cast was a hook up. The first was when a huge school of bonito came within casting distance and stayed there for about 5 hours. The second was on opening day on the Murray.
63 fish hey? OK, so if you fished both the major and minor times for that day, you would have landed one fish every 3 and a half minutes. Or if you fished the 8 hours or so from the beginning of the major to the end of the minor, you would have landed one fish every 7 and a half minutes, on average.
Is that normal? To catch a fish every 7 1/2 minutes?
If you really think and I quote "They are a lot of nonsense", then the question has to be asked...why are you using it ?
