hi everyone, how is fishing on your region?

Hey, it's pretty good down here at the bottom end of New Zealand, apart from the frequent bad weather.
How is it in your part of the world? The Maldives must be a fishing paradise.

fishing here is in it's best , yesterday we caught two marlins weighted 40kg and 80kg respectively, apparently the weather here isn't at it's best either but it mean to be the best time of the year.

At the moment, I am at the foot hills of the Snowy Mountains in Australia, NSW, in a place called Tumut. I have another 4 days here.

I bought a couple of rods with me but not much is happening. None of the locals are out fishing. I saw one person fishing. He said he was not a local and he was chasing cod...but he had corn in his bait bucket !! So he was after carp not cod.

We just had some pretty heavy thunder storms last night and rain all day today. So maybe that will bring the fish on.

Discovered best big game fishing near Masera Island south of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. A friend with the Oman Airforce goes for scuba diving and big game fishing there.
