In this video we do a bit of trolling for trout in a river mouth.
It's a very slow flowing river, ideal for kayak fishing.
There are some real monster brown trout in this river and we also caught a kahawai. Kahawai are saltwater fish and enter the river mouths with the tides to search for food. It was a pretty exciting kayak session and we'll show you the tackle we use and some tips and tricks on trolling from a kayak.

I think fish love to hang around the river mouth. Just surf cast on most of the river mouth can be also very successful.

Yeah big trout around. I just managed to catch a similar sized one from my paddle board with a fly rod. Will be in an upcoming video.
