Lake Lavon is one of the best kept secrets. Just a little north east of the metroplex. Numbers of giant blue cats are being caught every day and almost all are returned to the lake. I feel truly blessed to live on Lake Lavon.

Starting in March we will get after the sand bass. This lake can produce limits of 17” to 18” sand bass. In the video below we had been fishing for catfish but we hat to stop and take advantage of the feeding frenzy. When the you get into them like this you can't get you bait past them. It's fish every cast.

Here is a video of a fight with a 43# blue this month.

And hers is a video of the release.

In this next video, we just get A 26# off the boat and another one comes on.
