Today going to try my luck at a secluded spot. Fishingreminder says its an excellent fishing day let me see if it matches with my luck. Targeting Groupers with top lures and mullets(dead and live) & live Mudskippers. Going in a boat. Yesterday, the guys caught a few around 2-3 kilos with cut mullet bait casting handline from the shore. It is early morning 6:00 am and preparing my stuff. Will sail at 0900hrs to reach the fishing spots not later than 1030hrs. Will keep you boys posted hopefully with some good fish pics.

Sounds like you knocked that covid on the head.

I have only ever used crab for bait when targeting grouper. But I once got a grouper on a live baby octopus. Other than that time, I cannot think of any time I have caught grouper on anything other than crab.
