Orcas attack blue whale | Category: Fishing Talk

Orcas filmed attacking a blue whale off the Western Australian coast.

It happened on Monday apparently. The blue whale managed to get away.

that's amazing. I only recently learned that Orcas hunt and eat dolphins and now blue whales. OMG
For some reason, I always thought ocean mammals are friendly with each other

Orcas are actually dolphins. Largest of the dolphins.

They are hunters and dangerous...Not called killer whales for no reason They will even beach themselves when on the hunt.

But I never heard of them taking on a blue whale before. But apparently they do. Not very common, but blue whale is on the menu.

Sharks are on the menu. They take the liver. Even Large great whites are no match.
