I'm on vacation this week 😊 ,
so I headed down 2 my
South Bay spot 2 see what
was happening 😉

Arrived just after 12 noon,
there was gray sky, no surf,
2 hours past low tide, lite winds,
w/varying amounts of salad B)

I headed out on the jetty
first, and tossed the DS, Krok,
& LC for the 1st hour 4 nada :dry:

I worked my way back 2ward the
sand throwing a DS Gulp jerk shad,
and just as I am ready 2 give in and hit the
sand I go BENDO on this Bad Boy :laugh:



A Juvenile WSB B)

Stayed a little longer but nuthin'
else, and I hit the sand w/ the DS :cheer:

I worked my way north as the tide
started 2 fill in, feeling nibbles & hits
but nothing sticking,. Until after
about an hour I stick this lil Guy
on the Gulp Nuclear Chicken Jerk Shad B)



Then about 15 mins later his
Big Bro wanted 2 play on the
same Bait :laugh:



30 mins later I hook another
on the same Nuke Chicken
but this one a fighter :unsure:
pulls some drag, twice then
unbuttons himself & taking my
last Nuke Chicken w/him 😠

I pin on a Camo Jerk shad and
continue working north till
I reach some beach goers in
the water and decide 2 reverse
my steps back 2 the jetty:)

No sooner than I reverse that
I get another Butt :laugh: :laugh:





Continuing back, I try a
New Penny colored Jerk Shad
and that's when I start getting hit
by a school of YFC :laugh: B)







And one wiggled free B4 I
could take his pix ☹️

This all happened in an hours time
and most hits were right in the trough
5 feet off the surfline 😉

Those guy's destroyed the 3 New Penny
Shad I had ☹️
so that was the end of the YFC bite :whistle:

I tried a little longer but I was tired
I bailed at 5:00 😖

I haven't been out on a 5 hour
session since I started back, and
I was feelin' it :unsure:

But in a good way cause I had a
very, varied and productive day :laugh: B)
