Another Golden Bay Kingfish caught in the shallows

This is probably the smallest kingfish I've caught so far. Caught it on a z-man green curly tail softbait casted right in front of his path. Love sight fishing for those kingfish on light tackle. A lot of fun. It was safely released after this photo was taken.

Thanks bubba ? At the moment it's really good here in NZ. Luckily here in New Zealand we can fish all year round. Although it will slow down quite a bit in a few months. Especially on the South Island. This year will be my first winter on the South island. Not sure what to expect ?

Hey mark where here in wauchope Mid nth coast of nsw & had enuff of the dry &hot humid 5months !,would love too do a trip from top of nth isl to sth?.r u guy`s having 5G installed over in NZ?.

Hi sallad61, yeah the mobile internet coverage is really good all around the country, except for the most remote places and mountainous regions. I think 5G still mainly around the bigger cites. But 4G pretty much everywhere. If you want to get a prepay sim card - check out skinny prepay - they got pretty good deals. Let me know if/when you decide to come over. Might be able to catch up or give ya some tips on fishing over here. ?

We are trying to get away from 5G mark,it is not goodfor humans or nature buddy check it out/. We like the type of weather NZ has to offer. Also the fishing& laid back life style .??
