Great catch Mark. Your rainbows have a lot more colour than our Great Lakes rainbows. Ours are mostly silver. I lost a 2#er this morning. Is that a hydro dam reservoir lake that you caught them in? Brian

Hi Brian, thanks. Yeah correct that lake is a hydro reservoir. It's regularly stocked with rainbows. I knew it has a good population of trout, but didn't expect the majority to be so big :) At the moment they are very colourful. I think the colours are more intense in winter and during spawning.

yeah they were really good. We had one smoked and the other baked. Very tasty, just like salmon. ?
