got a couple nice snapper on softbaits today. These are perfect eating size. Anything bigger or smaller would have been released.

Mark we are sweltering 41deg heat here in Wauchope & you go post this great pic man!??oh love the fish lol, jumper makes it more sweaty

cheers mate, 41 deg sounds tough. We're at around 28 or so. Was a good day out on the kayak. Still pretty cool in morning but by the time I got back and took this photo the sweat started trickling down my back ?Heaps of snapper around at the moment, fishing has been pretty good as is usual during the new moon.

Thanks hat, I'm currently at the very top of the North island here in NZ. Fishing is really good, every time you feel like snapper you can just go and catch one quickly ? We've been eating too much snapper so need a break for a little while. Trying to target some kingfish instead for the next few days.

I pay $24.95 kilo for snapper here at Co-Op, if I try to go catch myself work`s out more & that is if I catch em?. Thank God it has cooled down now!!,was still 30deg at 2am. ??
