Was never sure. Caught it at Lido Beach close to the surface. Put up a good fight.

It's a gar fish. Common name is Longtom Gar or Longnose Gar.

If it's from saltwater it's needlefish gar, true gar is freshwater fish..Ive been seeing good size school of this fish last week while fishing (Florida)🎣🎣
