Hi to all.

New to this site but very impressed with all the info here.

I was on the net looking for details to help me make some new rigs, and to see if anyone has been lucky with the local big Australian Salmon lately?

We had some luck a few weeks ago on a southern adelaide metro beach - 7 caught between 40 and 47cm. Made about 2.5kg of fillets.

Hope others are doing well and if anyone would like to share what times they have found best for the salmon and mulloway that would be great.

:cheer:

Hmmmm, is it a fishing day or a motorbike day? Always a hard decision. ;)

Hi there

Welcome to fishingreminder.
I spent some time in Adelaide a few years ago. Nice city. I loved traveling around in South Australia and hiking in the Flinders Ranges. Never got a chance to fish though, except for going crabbing one day.

Could you do me a favour and check if the moon rise and sunrise times that are displayed here on fishingreminder for your location in Adelaide are correct?

Someone reported a problem with wrong times in Adelaide - just want to confirm if you're having the problem too.

Thanks

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Hi again

I made a few changes to the calculations that should fix the wrong moonrise/set time for adelaide. Seems it was half an hour off, due to the timezone difference in South Australia.

Could you check if it's correct on your computer as well now?

Hi, sorry for the delay but YES the times look great now. (Sadly the fish haven't been on the ball when major times are shown though).

We were fishing south metro adelaide on 1st Aug and out of the 3 of us, one caught a Tommy Ruff about 20cm, one lost a few pilchards to who knows what, and I caught a Port Jackson Shark about 60-70cm...

Sadly we had to go home and hunt food from the fridge instead.

Thanks again for your great communication and I will try the new solunar clock too.
